XBOX Achievements Achieved Offline Won't Unlock When Coming Back Online (even after new ...

About a year ago I played Rise of the Tomb Raider offline on my xbox one as I was unable to use the internet. I played through the whole game and achieved 100% completion. A year later I am trying to run through the game again and get all the achievements
I was unable to get while offline. For the record I understand achievements do not pop while offline, some of the achievements I had earned popped once I connected to xbox live 6 months ago.

My issue is that some of the achievements appear to be buggy. For example, "Reading the Past" (translating one monolith) can be achieved at the very start of the game. I have not only translated the monolith in the first mission but I have also translated
many more and the achievement still has not popped. I definietly would have gotten this achievement on my offline playthrough but it did not pop then either. This is the case with many other achievements in this game that are not popping even after doing the
exact requirements when playing online.

I have played through the whole game again online and the only achievements that are popping correctly are those I did not earn while playing offline. I have waited 72 hours for the servers to snyc, I have power cycled my console, I have reset everything
that could be reset but the achievements are still not popping.

I do not want to have to play through the whole game again to never be able to get all the achievements. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yup. Do we still get achievements if we are playing offline? Or will they unlock once it comes back online? Or am I just screwed?

They'll unlock once they can reconnect to the server and the bot that reads that info registers you've unlocked it.
Edit: The exception to this seems to be Halo MCC, it's broke as fuck when it comes to achievements. Also, the bot can take several months to read the data.

 

have to tried just signing out and back in , that sometimes works even when a power cycling doesn’t

I had the exact same problem on Rise of the tomb raider, there was the "Fall Guys" achievement where I had to kill 10 enemies by shooting them in the legs, no matter how much I killed that way, the achievement got stuck at 90%. About your offline achievements
issue, signing out and in again worked for me, I'm not sure why it didn't for you, however you can try to delete your local ROTR save and launch the game so it will download your save file from the cloud and it might solve your issue (please make sure you're
online when doing so).
