Xbox account suspened. Need help and how to undo it

My xbox has just got suspened for marketplace theft. I dont know what that means but i heard it could be because of game sharing. My friend came to my house about 2 or 3 weeks ago and we game shared. We had no idea that this was a bad thing and either
way i cant play the games i downloaded anyway. I just want to get my account unsuspened or at least have my time reduced. His gamertag is thisbuffalo1 and please someone help me. I dont want to be punished for something i had no idea was wrong. I know
that cheating is bad and i would never do it because i dont want to have exactly this happen. Please dont tell me to go to the enforcement website and file a case review i have already done that and it wont let me follow through with it because if I get one
question wrong i have to try again. So please help me i dont want to lose my data.

game sharing is not bad. It is actually a feature for the Xbox One and it cannot cause bans or suspensions.

 

Abusing the gameshare feature will lead to enforcement action.

It is meant to be used on consoles in the same household,not to share with friends.

No, it won't. OP was banned for something else. There's no way to "abuse" the "Home" console feature, and there isn't any restriction on which console you designate it to.

If you keep asking support to reset the amount of times you can designate a home console per year then this is abusing the feature & can lead to enforcement action.

It also states in the CoC that sharing content more broadly than you are allowed to share is a violation.

 

Sure, because you are circumventing an inherent system restriction in that scenario. As long as you stick within the limitation of 3 times annually that you can switch which console is Home, then you're fine.

Setting a console as Home or having another account access your content on the Home Xbox doesn't violate that CoC statement you are referencing.

 

I never said it did.There are limits on how you can use the home console feature.

There are circumstances where you can be suspended for abusing the system.

As the enforcement forums are no longer there I can't link it but people have been suspended in the past for abusing the home console/game sharing feature.

 

If by abusing the feature you mean the scenario you mentioned before of calling Xbox Support to have them reset the change limit too many times (just like receiving too many refunds), then yes, I'm sure many people have been suspended for doing that. However,
it doesn't sound like NicolasLOI22 was doing that, which is why I said his account was suspended for doing something else.
