Xbox account still linked to dad's account

If you're using your own Xbox profile but it's still showing your dad's Fortnite data, it means your Xbox account isn’t linked to your Epic account yet. You’re probably logging in under his account.

When you say “my Fortnite account,” are you referring to your own Epic Games account, or are you still using your dad’s Epic account (the one linked to his Xbox profile)?

Yes I understand that but thats not what I am doing. On Console A (Dads) I am using Account A (Dads) and on Console B Home Xbox (Sons) I have logged onto Account A (Dads) but playing on Account B (Sons). This is how I was advised to set up the consoles via a previous thread which I linked below. Thanks.

there is no way to transfer the xbox account or anything related to it, the microsoft account which belongs to your dad cannot be split or things moved from it, if you add an alias it will still be yours dads account and could lead to issues with it if you did that. this is why all users should have their own account from child to adult.

all you can do is create a new account, have your dads account set as home on the console and start over.

then your dads account is now linked and you would need to unlink it

I also have a similar problem I got my Xbox when I was 14 and my dad had the account in his name now I just bought a Xbox one and was transferring all of my account stuff over and it still thinks I'm 14 when I'm now 17. It says I must login to my dads account
and change my settings but my dad has never had an account. So now what would I do
