Xbox account recovery

My mum is currently trying to recover her account for my little brother who is autistic, He doesnt understand why he cant play his games or play with his friends, She has tried everything and has answered every question multiple times completely correct, we’ve spent so much money over the years, the email also being the one i used when i was younger for my original xbox account that my brother now uses in his name, We cant get in touch with microsoft and it is causing distress, Can someone please help

I already tried the recovery form. Unfortunately, they changed the email account connected to my Xbox account so I can't progress on the recovery form.

Thank you for taking the to reply to this thread.

When prompted with the option to "secure your account" in the following page that comes up, are you unable to access select any option that reads something like I don't have any of these?

You should have the option to add an new security option to your account, although it may take some time in order for this to take effect, this is in an effort to protect your account.

If you do not see this option, instead try this

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have an account issue. If you are able to sign in and change the password. I am not sure why you need to recover the account. To change the password, you need to fully sign in and sometimes verify
the account. We recommend requesting a call from support to assist you as they can look at the information on the account provided can verify.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us

Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing

Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

There is an option to change your password where a link is sent to your email. That's the route I took that didn't require me to fully sign in. After doing this, I'm still asked to "help us secure your account".

Where is the customer service??? This is ridiculous. The suspension has been completed...and is now 2 hours late ..i still cant do anything.

Also, why can't I reach an actual person to talk too when I call the Microsoft Support number?
