Xbox account privacy problems

Hello, I got a problem, when I try to change privacy settings on my Xbox account it only sends me to a page saying my parents need to do it, but I am not in a Family and on my account the birth date is 1990, Microsoft diden't let me make a Family or nothing
please help,

Changing privacy settings on xbox one

Recently I bought a xbox one and I am having problems accessing xbox live. I ckecked my connection that is fine, I have xbox live. When I go to play advanced warefare It says this account can't play xbox live, then when I go to change my privacy settings
it says Your privacy settings are in effect, but can't be changed until we connect to the service. I do have a parent account linked with my account if that helps. My question is how do I change my privacy settings? Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear about the issue with privacy settings. You will need to
add a family.

• step 1 will need to create an adult account --account with birthdate over the age of 18.
• once created sign into
  Account website then go to family.
• Then will need to invite the child account (your account) from the parent account to the family.
• Once you accept it will be by email, then the parent may have to verify they are an adult. After they verify the can modify your settings as the child.

When you create an account, even if you change the birthdate on Microsoft website, you are unable to change it on Xbox.com it is locked there. If by chance your account should be an adult like it past your 18th birthday there are ways to prove it.

We need you tofill out the Age verification
form.You cansubmit proof of age by filling out theAge verification Request.
