Xbox Account not transferred to Xbox One

Hi,

I have a new Xbox one and have just gone through the initial setup. I entered my email address but it asked me to enter my name and also asked me to set a password (which I thought was strange) the process has created a new account instead of using the existing
one.

looging in online now logs me into the new account rather than my old one.

I have checked the email address I entered and have confirmed it is the same email address I get the billing renewal emails for microsoft. I have an existing xbox Live subscription which is valid until Feb however this is now longer showing on the new account.

My 360 still has the account setup, I am reluctant to log out of that just in case I lose any information.

Please Help!

Will Microsoft Money Transfer to Xbox One?

Yea, a friend of mine transferred his Live account to his xbox one and all his money and points were transferred with him.

Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.

Unfortunatly you cannot transfer the world from one account to the other.

To be able to transfer a world from the 360 version to Xbox one you will need to have the Xbox One edition of the game, then only will you be able to transfer to the newer version, Bedrock Edition. For the same account.

You can recover your account on your Xbox and transfer your licenses from your old Xbox to a new one and you will be able to access all of your DLC with your main account.
