XBOX Account Missing

So I was getting really frustrated about my account because every time I loaded a game or went back to the Xbox Home, it would sign me out, so I watched a video on how to fix it and it said to Delete my account. He said it wasn't permanent, unless I press
Delete Profile And Items. I did NOT press that and pressed Delete Profile. But when I pressed Download Profile to get it back, and typed in the information, it gave me this random profile. I tried again with a different account but it said it didn't work.
Please help.

Do you get an error code when trying to download your son's profile from LIVE?

Could you run a diagnostic test to confirm if your son's console can connect to Xbox LIVE properly. To do so:

On the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Network Settings.

Select Wired Network or Wireless Network.

Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

missing xbox account

have you checkled the console/storage device for any corrupted profiles?

if there is a corrutped profile there it can stop it downloading

before deleting and redownloading the profile, firstly can you sign into his profile on the xbox.com website?

Hi

If the Offline profiles are still present on your Xbox 360 please see the guide below for how to change the profile into a gamertag that you will then be able to load and use on your Xbox One. If the profiles have already been removed from your Xbox 360
then they are now probably gone.
