Xbox account linked to dead email account

Hi

Was wondering if you could assist. My Xbox was always linked to my Nokia OVI account. To this day i can still log on to the account because i know my password.

HOWEVER... Nokia ended its email service and as it stands i dont have any way to receive email notifications from my account. So i have no way to access messages from Microsoft for any purchases done through my Xbox or Microsoft store.

Is it possible to transfer this account to my more active Gmail account, or even my outlook in order to receive emails again (indicating monthly bills, purchases, subscriptions, etc).

How can I sell my xbox one account safely?

I have it linked to my main email, which also is linked to my bank account and other important stuff. I will be changing the email for the non-xbox related stuff, but can that some how still cause problems? Or would it be easier to just change my xbox accounts email to something separate so it isn't also connected to my important stuff.

I am planning on selling my xbox one, with everything including the account since I have no use for it anymore. I am selling it though offerup, or those meet up apps. I'm just a bit worried they might have access to something like my credit card somehow, or my cousins account since I am able to log into his account through the console.

A question I have about Xbox Live

A question I have is when I sign in on my Xbox 360 to my Xbox Live account in the top right corner it shows your emblem along with a rotation of my gamertag name, achievement numbers, money I have on my account, and my email address linked to the account. But for some reason it doesn't show my email address when it's rotating through and instead just shows blank nothing until the next thing comes up in the rotation when it should show my email address in the rotation.

the other accounts will be linked to a dead account, best to unlink first or you may have issues if it requires an email confirmation.

You can't change the email linked to the Xbox account without changing the email of the Microsoft account, as the Xbox account it's part of the Microsoft account and the Microsoft account it's the email that has currently linked

This is how always have been, each email account can only be linked to one Xbox account, once that link has been made that email won't be capable to link a different Xbox account, there's no exceptions for this
