    xbox Account Info and Issues with owned games


    I have a couple of issues I thought I would combine into 1 thread.

    My xbox account appears up to date when signing in to microsoft account and/or xbox online. However when xbox prompts me to validate my account info for security purposes while on xbox it still shows my old email address. Unsure how to resolve since ms account and xbox account when signing in online already appears up to date.

    I'm also having issues playing some xbox 360 and EA games shown as owned in my libarary. It prompts me to download an old profile then says its unsuccessful.

    I tried to login on an xbox 1s using my xbox live info but it did not work, failed the password

    I can log in to my xbox live id using my microsoft email and password combination, same as my microsoft account info.

    When I tried to enter the info on the xbox 1 s it would not take the password.

    I do not own the xbox it is a belongs to a relative.

    Did not have this issue on their xbox 360.

    We were going to play a game multiplayer custom game with bots, I could only play as a guest.

    Game sharing

    It is advisable to not share account info with others even when it comes to gamesharing. Meanwhile the account that owns the games should check how many times have changed xbox home.

    With this being a recovered hacked account issue your best to telephone support - they have access to account info and will be able to help recover it fully to your own personal emails etc

    Accounts can purchase content for games even if they do not own the game.
