Xbox Account has been Hacked

So my xbox account has been hacked and they changed my password for my email and xbox account. He also changed my gamer tag by paying a $10 fee on my credit car, Is there anyway I can get my old gamer tag back and get my money back? Old gamer tag: shaka

However, as the owner of the account you are ultimately responsible for how the account is used, both good and bad. When we issue a suspension, it’s not necessarily because you committed a violation, but because the account was used
to commit a violation. Even if you weren’t home or holding the controller when the activity occurred, if a particular Gamertag was used to harass other players or cheated in a game we have to hold it accountable.

However, if you have reason to believe your account may have been compromised or the actions that led to the suspension occurred while the account was outside your control, please visit the

Compromised Account Solution Tool.

Call support and file an investigation if you want the points back. Other than that I would recommend changing the password, secret question, and possibly the WLID email if you're concerned about someone knowing what that is as well.

Regarding your Microsoft Account. I would recommend going to
https://account.live.com and changing your Password to your account. Please also check your Security Proofs and update them if you need to. If you have any further problems, please post back. Also, check out this post I wrote :

This talks about the Recent Activity Tab and talks about how it can assist you if you have been hacked and what the hacker or you has done on your Microsoft Account.

Actually he may indeed be refunded.

Calling support is right and then he should be asking them to open an Unauthorised Access case. If they find in his favour, that the charge was made when the account was outside of his control, then he can be refunded

Have you ever thought about Joining the Ambassadors Program?

 

I have been a member of the Ambassador program the first time around. Left then. Joined the Xperts and became an Ambassador again when the two programs were merged and then asked to leave a second time.

Personally I don't like the rules that Ambassadors must operate under. Such as not being able to tell people how to replace analogue sticks on their controller, having to instead tell them to buy a new one or pay for an over-priced official repair.

Also I'm not exactly the most pleasant of people. Given that part of an Ambassadors job is to be a friendly face for players on LIVE...yeah I'm not exactly going to be good at that.

On a side note according to xcl.xbox.com I am still an Ambassador. Just goes to show how effective they are at monitoring the membership.

 

The https:// xcl.xbox.com is the community Level for every user on Xbox Live. Not just Ambassadors. That's what I thought anyway

 

xcl.xbox.com and the profiles viewable there are for Ambassadors to see what XP they require for the next level. You can also view your rewards and those you can unlock, as well as how many enforcement votes you've made as part of Enforcement United (should
you be signed up for that.)

Plus I know it considers me an Ambassador because the Apply page shows me as such. I checked there after I kept receiving Ambassador only emails.

I received an email to notify us that my son purchased Black op 2 but he is not even home and spending time with a friend. How can I stop payment for this?!

 

Call your son first. Check to see if your account has be comprise. Then you may and may is wishful thinking get your credit card to do something. But I think you are totally out of luck.

 

Speak to your credit card company and advise them this was not an authorised purchase and would like the payment traced and returned.

 

@Athletic if your son didn't make that purchase you will need to follow the steps on the post I made in this thread earlier, it had all the steps on what to do, also regarding the payment.
