Xbox account has become two separate accounts

Hi, I made an Xbox account and was given an "Xbox gamertag" which I changed. I played a few games and got my gamer score up after a while I logged into my account only to find my gamer score and new gamer tag was gone and I'm left with the old gamertag Xbox
gave me and no gamer score but my old gamertag and score are still there (shows up on my friends xbox) I just can't access it, it's like Xbox has made a whole new account for me with the same email etc anyone that can help I would be grateful thanx

Bought an xbox for my son and my daughter created a second account. We have xbox live and ea access subscriptions (ea was a year trial) and now they have games spread across both accounts and can't access everything they have. EA was added to my daughter
account (because we didn't know any better) and xbox live to my son's account and now he cannot play ea games using xbox live?!?

This is the dumbest thing in the world! We would like to just have one account since adding both now restricts one from the other but are afraid we'll lose one of the subscriptions since they were trials (ea access). Who can help us fix this? Microsoft? EA?

Hi there,

has your daughter's account set the console as Home console? To see if that will allow your son's account to play the games that were downloaded from the vault.

Setting a console as Home console will allow other profiles to use the game licenses connected to that account.

Be aware that this can only be set 3x per year for a account.

Please make sure you're using the correct email when signing in. Chances are, your two Gamertags have different email addresses.

 

No it's definitely the same email and password and worthlesswine9 is the same gamer tag Xbox gave me before I changed it , it's just erased that I changed it along with my gamer score and started again from the beginning but with my changed gamer tag n score
still out there in cyberspace wherei can see it but not access it :/

 

no you entered it incorrectly whenever you use a email/password that has never been used before the system auto generates a tag for that email/password. you will have to contact support to get it straightened out sorry.

 

I I'd contact support all I'm getting are robots who don't understand what I'm talking about but thanx for the help
