    Hello,

    I need help. My son xbox account was compromised and they changed the email address. He didn't receive an email stating that someone had requested to change the email. However, he did receive an email saying the 30 day period was up and the email account was being changed to the person we don't know. I have tried all day to contact Microsoft with no help. I filled out the form for the recovery account process and they emailed me back and said that the account could be recovered tried to recover it and the person email is still listed on the account. Therefore, I couldn't recover it. I am beyond frustrated at this point. Can anyone help me get someone from Microsoft on the phone. We just received another email that another email has been added to the account. I need to talk to someone at Microsoft ASAP. I can't do anything over the phone because they have removed my son's email address. Please help XBox community! Thanks in advance

    Microsoft you have a PROBLEM

    Unless a main website or service has been hacked - like PSN, it's not a hack ok.

    Phishing, NOT a hack

    Social engineering, NOT a hack

    Giving someone your LIVE ID to someone else and then losing your account,
    NOT a hack

    Using dodgy software or websites offering free points and what not, then losing your account, still
    NOT a hack.

    Signing up for various suspect websites using the same email address and password for LIVE. then losing your account. still
    NOT a hack.

    If EA was compromised and it held your Windows LIVE ID, this is technically a hack, but it's EA that would have been hacked, not Xbox LIVE. When I say 'hack' I mean a real, sophisticated website or server attack. A hack in the literal sense of the word.

    You need to purchase a new subscription for your new account, or you could contact the Xbox Support and get your Hacked account back, unless its not really hacked?
