Xbox Account/Gold problems on Xbox One after switching email associated with gamertag

I'm having a lot of problems on my Xbox One after I changed the email that was attached with my gamertag from
Xbox 360. The previous email was my parents back from when I started on Xbox Live since the beta stages in the beginning of the 2000s. Now, I want my gamertag associated with my own email so I can have all around control for my account. I went
on my 360 and successfully changed the previous email with my own email for my account. I have also bought a year of gold so I can have gold for my own. On
Xbox One, I have problems with anything that has to do with subscriptions or purchasing games on the Xbox Store. If I try to purchase a game, I get the
"Something went wrong. Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate." message. If I try to view the free games with gold section,
I get a "Sorry, there was a problem opening this page. Try again in a little while." message. If I go under
Settings>Account>Subscriptions, it loads for a bit and then an error message pops up, "There was a problem. We couldn't get info about your subscriptions from Xbox Live. (0x80bd0006)". Also,
on Xbox One, it is acting up as if I don't have gold at all, when I am a gold subscriber.

Now, when I go onto my Xbox 360, everything is fine and working normally and there are no problems at all with anything that has to do with
Xbox 360. While on the 360, I can go to where I can install games for Xbox One, but then I get error/problem messages. I don't know what to do and this whole mess seems to only be affecting everything on Xbox One. All I wanted to do was simply
change over emails from an old parents email to my personal email to be associated with my gamertag. Something like this shouldn't have to cause so many unnecessary problems. Anyone have any idea, or have run into the same problem and fixed it?

Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

yeah just create a new email address, go to xbox.com and change the email associated with your gamertag. heres the lnk for you.

Gamer tag and Email address don’t match up.

My brother is trying to sign into Xbox live after around 4-5 years and he had a Gamertag that was once on Xbox live and now he can’t use the email associated with his Gamertag. The Gamertag shows the email associated with it on his console but when we sign
into that Email on the computer a different Gamertag with no history or achievements comes up! Tech support says there has to be another email associated with his Gamertag but that isn’t possible since he once had Xbox Live with his Gamertag that was associated
with his email! Is it possible Xbox deleted his data due to inactivity?

 

I've also attempted to buy a game on the Xbox Store and said there was a problem so it wouldnt download and shows as if I havent purchased it. I received an email showing that I was charged for the game too, but I cant play or install it.
