    Hi,

    When I try to save a configuration for my xbox one elite controller it won't save. Also, it won't let me edit the default configurations for mode 1 & mode 2.

    I have tried every basic solution (uninstalling and unplugging) & also uninstalling drivers.

    I have Windows 10 with all updates (including anniversary) and the controller is connected via USB.

    I have bought the controller today and at first it was going fine and I could save, edit and change the 2 modes but
    since I restored mode 1 and mode 2 to the defaults they have been greyed out and I cannot save any configurations.

    Elite Controller Configurations On PC

    Hello. I am using my xbox elite controller on my windows 10 PC along with the xbox accessories app. I am able to save two configurations to my controller switch #1 & #2. However, I was wondering if it is possible at all to save more that just two configurations
    within the xbox accessories app for me to switch over to later when I need another setup. I want to be able to create a third config and save it in the library where all of the other preset configs are located on the left side of the xbox accessories app which
    currently contain presets for Forza, Gears, and Halo.

    When i click "+ New Configuration" I am able to make my third config and save it which shows up correctly on the left side, and I am able to swap it with other configs but when I close and re-open the xbox accessories app the third config that was once in
    the app on the left is now gone.

    Is there a way to save a third configuration to the xbox accessories app without it disappearing later on?

    Hi, i cant log in to my xbox live account on PC windows 10 and the error message i get is (0x409) 0x80080300.

    And with the xbox elite controller i cant seem to be able to save any of my configurations.

    Configuring XBOX-One Elite Controller on Windows 10

    Hey tobidererste,

    Are you speaking of the Xbox Accessories app? Just search for "Xbox Accessories" in the Windows 10 Store and you can use that app to configure your Elite controller for your Windows 10 device.

    Hi Helmut,

    Thanks for keeping us updated with your reply. Since you have updated your PC to the latest Windows build, if you're having trouble

    updating the Elite controller using the Xbox Accessories app    , then there may be an issue with the app itself if it isn't allowing you to update the controller. You may wish to run the App troubleshooter to see if there may be something with the app itself
    that requires a "fix". Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store

    In regard to configuring your Elite controller, you would need the Xbox Accessories app for that as well: Use the Xbox
    Accessories app to configure your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

    If you continue to experience issues updating or configuring your Elite controller using your Windows 10 PC, then you may need to attempt to do so from a different PC or an Xbox One console.

    I hope that this helps a bit more and please let us know the results.
