    Xbox Accessories Windows 10 App issue.


    Hi,

    I have my Xbox One controller turned on and connected via USB to my PC. the Xbox Accessories app however is still displaying "Connect a Controller to get started"

    Any suggestions?

    Let's manually update the controllers on your Windows 10 PC through the Xbox Accessories app. To proceed, kindly download the "Xbox Accessories" app from the
    Windows Store. This is a separate app from the Xbox app. The app will enable you to update your controller. Refer to How
    to update your Xbox One Controller on Windows 10     for the steps.

    Configuring XBOX-One Elite Controller on Windows 10

    Hey tobidererste,

    Are you speaking of the Xbox Accessories app? Just search for "Xbox Accessories" in the Windows 10 Store and you can use that app to configure your Elite controller for your Windows 10 device.

    Those are the EXACT steps I followed that caused the issue. I don't recommend - or at least see the 230 ratings and 120 reviews, many of which did the same and found themselves with the same issue. But I will try that link - thank you.

    Xbox accessories app does not work on Windows 10

    he is using an outdated version of windows 10, he needs to update to the latest version of windows 10 before he can update and use the accessories app, it is nothing to do with the current firmware issue on the controller.
    Oh.. Sorry..

    I'm just really frustrated with xbox accessories app pc. Can't configure my xbox elite series.

    Its in the accessory app on Xbox. You can adjust settings there. If on a PC you need to install the Xbox accessories app in Windows 10. Good luck!
