Customizing user profiles on a Windows 10 PC is not supported via Bluetooth. Any Bluetooth capable Xbox One controllers will need to be plugged in via USB-C or through the Xbox Wireless Adapter if you want to customize and use custom profiles. The Xbox Accessories
app will not detect your controller over Bluetooth connection.

Use the Xbox Accessories app to customize your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2  

Things to keep in mind:

• The Xbox Accessories app is only available on Xbox One and Windows 10.
• To configure the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (or later) and make sure your PC has the latest fixes.

• The Xbox Accessories app won’t detect your controller if you’re using Bluetooth to connect to your PC. Connect your controller using Xbox Wireless, or plug the included USB-C cable into the back of the Xbox Elite Wireless

There might be an update to the Xbox Accessories app on the PC. Check using the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10/11. The app on the PC should then be able to recognize the new firmware of the Elite Controller.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Were sorry to hear about your Elite Series 2 problem. Id like to ask if you have updated the firmware on your controller through the Xbox accessories app on your console? Additionally if this has already been taken care of make sure that you are using the original usb-c cable that came in the box (plug in the controller first and then open the app) or an Xbox wireless adapter to ensure that your pc can detect the controller.

Please test in Xbox accessories app by connecting your controller to your Xbox or PC and open the Xbox Accessories app. Use the app to test the functionality of the right trigger. If it doesn't respond, the issue might be hardware-related.

And then update firmware. Make sure that your controller's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates in the Xbox Accessories app.

Next is to reset controller settings. Do this in the Xbox Accessories app, reset the controller's settings to default. This can help resolve any configuration issues.
