    Xbox Accessories not detecting my Xbox 360 controller windows 10 PC


    Hi, I bought new xbox 360 wired controller today and when i open xbox accesories but it show "connect a device" but it didn't connect although the controller still work perfectly fine

    i tried reconnect the controller, change to another usb port, update driver, restart but none of it seem to work i don't know if it's my controller or not and i just want to disable the vibration

    Any help appreciated. thanks

    Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
    wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.
