    Controller syncing

    my xbox one refuses to sync wireless controllers so I had to use the cable and used them via wired cable. Now my Xbox won't even recognize a controller that's wired, and I'm only using official xbox accessories for the Xbox one

    Cannot connect XBox One Controller after failed updating driver

    Hello all. I have an issue with my XBox One Controller.

    I'm connecting my wired XBox One Controller to PC and updating the driver using XBox Accessories. But in the middle of the updating process, my connection suddenly lost because of the loosen cable and my PC can't recognize the controller anymore.

    Can I re-flash my controller or is there any other method? Thanks.

    All drivers updated, windows system updated, xbox app updated, my computer manages to recognize there is a "controller" connected but not the xbox accessories app....

    I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

    1. Right click on Windows Start > Device Manager > Click the topmost entry i.e. your device > Click Action in Menu > Click Scan for hardware changes

    Now you should be able to see your xbox controller

    2. While being in Device Manager, click view on top > Show hidden devices > Locate your xbox controller and right click

    a. Uninstall and reboot computer to reinstall driver again

    b. Update driver

    3. Use the Hardware & Devices Troubleshooter

    Type Troubleshoot in Windows Start Search box > Click Troubleshoot > Click Hardware & Devices > Run the Troubleshooter

    Hello Brayan, If you have your Xbox one controller compatible with Windows 10, you've tried downalod from the Xbox Accessories App and connect the USB cable controller to see if it's recognized, remove the batteries from the controller when you fix the controller to your PC.

    You shouldn't need to click the connect button on the controller, just plugging it in via USB should be enough to recognize it by the computer and be able to update through the Accessories app.
