Xbox accessories app

I have been using my xbox elite controller wired through windows 10 since launch and the app was working fine for awhile, but a few weeks ago i started getting runtime errors occasionally, so i have since uninstalled the xbox 360 controller drivers, and
its fixed that.

But it has also bricked the app so I uninstalled it hoping a reinstall would fix the issue and allow me to access the app again, but now it wont install. It downloads installs and then when i go to open it up it takes me to the Store's downloads page which
is blank, so I go back to the app's store page and it again has the open to install, even though I already have it installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Xbox Accessories check battery level

Using windows 10, I want to check my battery level on my MICROSOFT XBOX ONE CONTROLLER.

The APP says use "Xbox Accessories" APP.

I open Xbox Accessories APP.

Xbox Accessories says "PLUG IN CONTROLLER" so I do

The APP will NOT tell me the battery level because it is PLUGGED IN.

These APPS are the cheapest, POS I have ever seen. DO BETTER MICROSOFT!

Xbox Elite controller won’t let me map the buttons and save them

You can try installing it again or clearing the MAC address/power cycling the console to refresh it. I would also just check to make sure it doesn't need an update

If the power cycle suggested above doesn't work:

Are you doing this on Xbox or Windows 10? (There's an Xbox Accessories app on both platforms.)

If the one you're trying isn't working, you can attempt to use the app on the other platform (if you have it available) to see if that is any better. Changes made to the controller settings in the Windows 10 app would still, I believe, hold true when you use
the controller on Xbox One.

If you talked to an actual Xbox Support Agent saying that, they probably use a Nintendo or PS. But If you're in one of the Xbox Insiders Preview rings like the Alpha Skip Ahead ring, that might be why it won't work. It works fine on my console and I'm
in the Delta ring now but going back to the Public OS version soon. I wish you luck though.
