Xbox Accessories App Won't Launch (Crashes before app even starts)

it might be that the serers where unavailble at the time but you should be able to use the app again

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox app and it ran a little further before crashing so I restarted my pc and now it doesn't even start to load before crashing :/ I've heard good things about steam..

Hello everyone,

I have a lot of issues with the Xbox App lately. Every time I restart my PC the app is broken, it won't launch unless I reinstall it. The problem is that if I was downloading a game before reinstalling the app, the game won't launch when finished downloading.

You can add to that various crashs with other game store apps since the last Windows 10 update and freezes during a restart of the PC.

Is there anybody with the same problems ?

I can't even make it to the friends list...

My Xbox app, Xbox beta, and Smart Glass apps are crashing immediately upon launch, I see the green loading screen for a fraction of a second then crash. Very frustrating.

Just chiming in say that I've had the same issue, seems to have started a few months ago . The Xbox accessories app won't even pick up a controller input for the paddles on the default profile .
