Xbox Accessories App (Win 10) update issues

It seems like the Xbox Accessories App on Windows 10 recently updated (v300.1804.2001.0) with some new UI changes and whatnot, but it also made about half of the game configurations on my Elite controller disappear, and most of the app itself doesn't work
right. Clicking the rename, delete, or copy configuration buttons does absolutely nothing. Editing seems to work OK, but the rest of the main functions simply do not respond. Whats up?

Xbox one streaming on Windows 10 not working when trying to play multiplayer

Let's manually update the controllers on your Windows 10 PC through the Xbox Accessories app. To proceed, kindly download the "Xbox Accessories" app from the
Windows Store. This is a separate app from the Xbox app. The app will enable you to update your controller. Refer to How
to update your Xbox One Controller on Windows 10 for the steps.

I cant download xbox accessories from win10 store

I want to download the xbox accessories app on win 10 app store

But when I pressed 'download',

the page just refreshed and nothing happened

he is using an outdated version of windows 10, he needs to update to the latest version of windows 10 before he can update and use the accessories app, it is nothing to do with the current firmware issue on the controller.

Oh.. Sorry..

I'm just really frustrated with xbox accessories app pc. Can't configure my xbox elite series.

I just had exactly the same issue

I finally installed Windows 10 and knew that this was a prerequisite for updating the xbox one controller firmware. Installed the "xbox Accessories" app and attempted to update the firmware.

The update stalled at 0% and waited 10 minutes and hit the back arrow. The xbox accessories app no longer sees my controller...... seems that the app bricked it.

Like the original poster I do not own an xbox one console

Any solutions to this problem?
