Xbox accessories app STILL doesn't have Legacy thumbstick options

It's been almost a year since it was pointed out that this option is missing in the controller app. I submit it via the Xbox's built in support periodically. I have sent tweets to David Prien, who forwarded the problem on to the team who deals with the accessories
app. I have tried suggesting it via the Xbox Feedback site as a new feature suggestion (this is NOT a new feature. This is a standard control option and has been since the days of the N64 and PS2).

Which has all been a terrible joke. Nothing has been done. Not even an acknowledgement. What in the name of all that is good do I have to do to get this addressed? I get it that Xbox is a huge ecosystem and they've got a lot of fish to fry, but a year on for
a simple controller option is more than a stretch.

Xbox One Elite Controller left thumbstick is drifting.

An option in the Xbox Accessories app to allow you to relearn the centre position of the controller thumbsticks would be nice plus useful for all controllers.

Elite Controller LEGACY STICK REMAPPING

This would fix so many problems with simply playing games period. It would grant equal access to all games on Xbox for Legacy Thumbstick players instead of just the games whose developers are aware of and add Legacy Thumbsticks as an option in the settings
menus.

It's quite ironic that the Elite Controller (presented as letting players play how they prefer), despite it's obvious advantages over the normal Xbox Controller, does not have the original console thumbstick layout. It seems like such a simple fix, to swap
the X-axis of the sticks. This would let me play all the games I've wanted to buy, like The Witcher, and literally thousands of other games that lack Legacy Thumbsticks. Yeah, it really is a metric ton of games that don't have Legacy Thumbsticks and this could
fix that! Seems

I never buy a game unless I can confirm it has legacy controls. If I can't find out then I just don't buy it and Microsoft loses my money!

Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

The Xbox Accessories app will allow you to map one of your paddles to the right thumbstick button and map the right thumbstick button to nothing. To un-map the right thumbstick button, you will have to map the paddle to the button first then remap the right thumbstick button to the "Unmapped" option.

For programming the device you have to use the Xbox accessories app.

You can find it on your console or in the
xbox store

in the app you can

• Assign up to 3 profiles to the controller

• Create and save up to 256 profiles in the app

• Remap all input ports

• Configure thumbstick sensitivity curves

• Change thumbstick calculation

• Configure Xbox button brightness

• Rename your controller

• Swap thumbstick X and Y axes

• Assign Shift button, and configure Shift inputs
