    Xbox Accessories App Not Supporting Elite Controller


    I have a brand new Xbox Elite Controller that was just firmware updated via the xbox. I have just installed the Xbox Accessories App to be able to configure/remap the controller. While plugged into my PC it says "Unfortunately this app doesn't currently support your controller's new firmware on PC."

    Is there a way around this so I can properly configure this expensive controller? It seems ludicrous that Microsoft would force me to update my controller's firmware if their own Accessories App cannot recognize it
