    Xbox Accessories app not actually saving data to Elite controller


    After my inital setup of my Elite controller, the mapping was fine. However using the app now, it refuses to save the device name when I edit it, and the mapping data resets after i reconnect the controller. The PC app can work perfectly, but when i reconnect to my Xbox One it refuses to sync data, and therefore i cannot remap for my games. This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

    Maybe the app needs a fix? Does anyone have a fix to this?

    Hi Brendanhealey! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    If I understand correctly, you think that the app isn't working because after configuring the controller with the Pc app if you disconnect the controller, and you reconnect it to your Xbox the app doesn't sync that information

    In this case the problem would be the controller, as the app don't have a synchronization with the cloud option for controllers mapping, the controller it's the one that saves that configuration and take it trough different devices
