Xbox accessories app gone?

OK so i feel kinda stupid but for some reason I had 2 xbox accessories app on my system. one was dark green one was a lighter green. both worked fine though but it annoyed me. So i deleted one, and then they both disappeared. They aren't in my list of apps
ready to install and they aren't in the store either anymore for some reason. Either way I'd like to know if there is anyway to redownload the app. This is the app used to program my elite controller. Right now the only way i can program it is to connect it
to my PC and use the windows 10 app to do it which is annoying. any help is appreciated. Thanks

Xbox Accessories check battery level

Using windows 10, I want to check my battery level on my MICROSOFT XBOX ONE CONTROLLER.

The APP says use "Xbox Accessories" APP.

I open Xbox Accessories APP.

Xbox Accessories says "PLUG IN CONTROLLER" so I do

The APP will NOT tell me the battery level because it is PLUGGED IN.

These APPS are the cheapest, POS I have ever seen. DO BETTER MICROSOFT!

 

Xbox Elite controller won’t let me map the buttons and save them

Hello Fellow Ambassador,

Xbox Accessories Apps appears to be taken down on the Xbox One side but you still update your controller via Windows 10.

 

seriously? why would they take the app down? that makes no sense. So i can't update my controller settings without the use of my laptop? what if someone doesn't have a windows 10 PC? I'd like to know why this app isn't available as it's a big selling point
of the elite controller. is MS even aware of this?

 

Simple. Microsoft is trying to force everyone to Windows 10 as soon as possible so they can start getting telemetry ("tracking") data on the most users possible. Of course, you can't turn that tracking off either. They listen with the mic and watch if you
have a cam. So, I know leave all of my cams unplugged unless I use them. Oh, and the Xbox One does it too. FYI: The little speaker in your One is also a mic, so they are always listening through that too. Don't believe me? Check it out yourself online.
