    Xbox 5.1 Surround Sound System


    I got a Xbox 5.1 Surround Sound System that was gave to me. I would like to fix it up cause it looks like a really great sound system. Does anyone have a link where I can find part or does anyone have parts 4-sale. I need a remote control and maybe the
    mother board for this unit. Is it wroth fixing it up? Plus can I hook it up to my 75" Samsung TV? Or Does it have to be a Xbox component?

    Audio question

    I don't think the sounds are that bad, it could be because I am using true 5.1 headphones, or a true 5.1 surround system, but I have no trouble locating people by sounds.

    hey there! We can't help with advice on third party gear or repairs. you'll have to find info on your specific model on Google and go from there. :)
    If it's the Microsoft branded system it is not "3rd party".

    Definitely worth fixing up.I've been using a 5:1 surround system since the og xbox & couldn't imagine life without it.

    As for connecting it,that depends on what connections it has.If you can you would want to connect it via a optical cable direct to your xbox.

    If your surround sound doesn't have the optical cable socket then you would need an adaptor or hook it up to your tv via red/white cables.
