You experience either of these problems when using your Xbox 360 console:

    • Your screen remains blank or black when you start your console.
    • The circle of lights surrounding the console’s power button flashes red.
Often, this means the cable between the console and the TV or monitor is not connected correctly or is faulty. However, video settings or a hardware problem may also be to blame. See the troubleshooting
    information below for help:

    Solution 1: Restart your console

A simple restart can sometimes solve problems. To ensure a complete restart, hold the console power button down for 10 seconds to turn off the console. Then, turn it back on.

    Solution 2: Check your cable

Try the following steps to check for cable problems. Restart the console after each.

Note If you’re trying to view in high definition,
make sure that your cable supports HD
    .

    1. Make sure that the A/V or HDMI cable is firmly plugged in to the correct ports on your console and your TV or monitor.
    2. If there’s a switch on the cable itself with markings such as “TV/HDTV”, make sure that the setting is correct for your TV (standard or HD) setup.
    3. If you’re using an HDMI cable, try a different HDMI port on your TV or monitor.
    4. If you’re using a setup with additional components, try using a direct console-to-TV HDMI cable connection when troubleshooting.
    5. If possible, try a different cable. For cable options, see
Connect an Xbox 360 S console or an original Xbox 360 console to a TV
      .

Solution 3: Reset your console display settings

To reset your display settings, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure that there’s no disc in the disc tray.
    2. Turn off the console.
    3. Turn on the console.
Note If you’re using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, make sure only one wireless controller is connected to the console and then turn off and restart the console by using the
      Guide button on that controller.
    4. As the console starts, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger on the controller. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.

Xbox 360 E or Xbox 360 S console: To reset display setting on these console models, you can also just turn off the console and then hold the power button on the front of the console down for about 10 seconds. (The lights will flash several
      times.)

Solution 4: Check your TV setup

    Basics to check:

    • Make sure that your TV is turned on.
    • Make sure that the correct input is selected on your TV.
    • Remove any devices, such as a receiver, that are connected between the console and the TV.
    • If your TV has an eco/energy saving mode, turn that feature off in your TV’s video settings.
To make sure that your TV’s settings don’t conflict with Xbox, see the “Check your TV settings” section of

Xbox 360 images on your TV are unclear
    .

Solution 5: Try a lower screen resolution

If you’re having problems with HDTV viewing, try a lower screen resolution setting. To access these settings:

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and select
      System Settings.
    2. Select Console Settings.
    3. Select Display.
    4. Select HDTV Settings.

Solution 6: Try a different TV

To help determine whether there’s a problem with the console, try using your console with a different TV or monitor if possible.

If video works (only) with the other TV:

    • Contact the manufacturer of the (original) TV to check if a “firmware” update is available for the TV.
    • Contact the manufacturer of the (original) TV for configuration help.

Hey Malicious! here are a couple of solutions for you to try. Let me know if one of them fixes the problem for you.

Solution 1- Hard reset. Hold power button on the front of the console until it turns off. Unplug console from wall outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on and try the game again.

No dedicated servers yet coming soon lol

^^They are saying some dedis for the 360 when the Xbone dedis start up, but they will probably be few and far between and they wont be "up and running" for the 360 for long, maybe a year JMHO.
