XBOX 360S will beep but not turn on???

HDMI and power supply work on my other system. I press power and it just beeps and beeps.

Xbox slim would beep but not turn on

So my 360 slim wasn't turning on, it would beep but then not turn on. so naturally i assume something is up with the power supply , it had made a horrible noise and had the orange light instead of green since i got it, so i bought a new one on amazon and
it still didn't work. so i checked all the connections and everything and everything was fine, still it would just beep and nothing. so kinda frustrated i started unplugging stuff, when i unplug a non-wireless controller and then the xbox turned on and the
light on the power supply turned green, i feel like this is very illogical so if someone can explain this to me i would greatly appreciate it

 

250 gb slim beeping! randomly turns on off wtf!

it wil beep a few times over about 3-5 minutes but only ever one beep. The it will power off. Also beep a few times then turn on.

I have cleaned all buttons, last night i could not play at all it would turn off after 3-5 mins

 

Never mind the update broke my xbox a month out of warranty, microsoft wants me to pay for the fix and I don't want to so to fix the bitter that has grown from this experience I am going to switch to the Play Station 4 next month when I have enough saved
which was originally for the One. Sony's customer service is way better and they have controllers that resemble Xbox's so I'm sure the change will not be difficult. Bye Xbox you were fun for the last 8 years but I spend too much to be treated this way.
