    Xbox 360S via HDMI no signal


    Recently my Sony KDL-46W5500 went into demo mode for some reason. Since then the Xbox360S wont connect via hdmi.

    I have taken the tv out of demo mode, done a factory reset and setup. No luck with the xbox

    The hdmi ports on the tv work ok with other equipment and I have tried different cables, no luck, hdmi now seemingly blocking xbox .

    I have connected the xbox to two other tv's and it works fine.

    From here I can turn off display discovery etc and lower res to 720p.

    Try again with my main tv, nothing.

    any ideas?

    It's not a switch. It's a HDMI Repeater which routes the signals via processors and outputs the signals to the HDMI output. There is no direct passthrough, without processing the data first and adding a delay in signal.

    You have shown no proof in the HDMI signals being directly passed through without being processed and your assumption on 50-133ms of Xbox 360 processing delay on Campaigns is Ludicrous too...

    No. It functions via HDMI in, if you're not feeding a signal via the HDMI in then there is nothing to view. I imagine converters for a bunch of tv signal styles are in the works though.
