Xbox 360's Dashboard now shows Xbox One stuff like....

The Dashboard version just came out tonight for Xbox 360. Dashboard: 2.0.17489.0

Features/Changes:

-When you go to your friends list, if any of your friends are online, it doesn't just say "Xbox one". It says what app or game AND Xbox One they're playing aka the dashboard finally says WHAT they're doing on Xbox 1.

-The Social tab has changed a bit. Left side has Friends, and now.... Activity Feed. And when you click on Friends in Social, click on their avatar, press the right arrow button on your controller, and you can click on Activity Feed to see their activity
stuff. Under the Social tab, click on your avatar, and it shows Messages, Activity Alerts, and Activity Feed. I guess it's a good way to tell for those who don't have Xbox 1 consoles, if they have followers or not. Otherwise if and when they get Xbox 1, hello....
who are all these people following me! I didn't know this!

-You no longer have to be on this site, an Xbox 1 console, or Xbox 1 smart glass, to see Activity Feed/Alerts, which is kwl.

Right now it's 10:17 pm Thursday NZ time for me.

What is your FAVORITE and LEAST FAVORITE feature ONLY on XBOX ONE ?

My favourite feature is that the console doesn't abruptly sign you out of Xbox Live every time there is an update required like with the Xbox 360 (Xbox Live Updates).

My least favourite feature is no voice messaging even to other Xbox 1 users

(and that Xbox 1 can't do like half the stuff Xbox 360 can do (change UI background with a pic/theme, battery indicator, recent players list, bio/motto/location in profile, USB support videos/pics no external HDD support so far, no access to the consoles
HDD, laggy Dashboard when using the controller, compared to 360's current Dashboard. I love the 360 Dashboard its really easy and fun even for kids. Xbox 1's Dashboard isn't as user friendly as Xbox 360's current UI).

Xbox one dashboard redesign ?

I like the current Xbox One dashboard but I do miss the Xbox 360's guide menu. It will be interesting when Windows 10 gets released. Will the dashboard stay the same or will it get a complete redesign?

dude this update was the biggest trash for all 360 users ... why would i care what people doin on there xbox ONE if i dont have one .... makes no since at all (maybe for some stalkers) !

how about u r doin something we really could use for example make the cross-plattform chat work for 360 users so we can talk to xbox ONE users at least ...

Maybe people other than yourself care about what there friends are playing on the xbox one. Cross chat is coming in November with the backwards compatibility feature. Xbox one gamers will be able to play Xbox 360 multiplayer with Xbox 360 users as well.

Most of the Microsoft owned games are getting released as backwards compatible titles and as well as a few third party studios have jumped on board.

Not trash but awesome features.

Avatars are a thing of the past, they're useless on the Xbox One, just like the reputation system. Still no voice messaging, can't purchase gamerpics, can't purchase themes or different colors for dashboard, etc. It's improving but there are still a lot
of little things that are missing. I prefer the 360's dashboard to the Xbox one's dashboard right now.

I have a full Xbox 360 friends list and only 20% of them have an Xbox 1. NO... Xbox 1's Dashboard DOESNT bring up a notifications bubble when they come online on an Xbox 360 console, but the WILL show if they're online or not when you go to your friends
list. But.... if a friend or anyone on an Xbox 360 console sends you a message, the Xbox 1 Dashboard will show a pop up balloon for that. Then again Xbox 360 and Xbox 1's Dashboard don't show a pop up balloon when your friends log on SmartGlass or this website
(which is the official Xbox site).
