Xbox 360s controller won't connect to consule

Discus and support Xbox 360s controller won't connect to consule in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm trying to get an Xbox 360 s controller to connect to the 360 s consule.     Xbox 360s controller won't connect to consule


    I'm trying to get an Xbox 360 s controller to connect to the 360 s consule. My problem is the plug is an odd shape, not usb shaped. What am I doing wrong, is there a secret plug in? Also, I have a white controller wired and it has a usb plug in, when I connect
    that, the green light does not come on. Please Help! My 6 year old just wants to play minecraft!!!

    as far as I know any Xbox 360 controller is either wireless or when wired has a standard USB connection (there is also a inline cable release for wired controllers, but the full cable should still result in the usb plug. If it is different then it might
    not be an official Xbox 360 controller.

    This is 360 Consul.

    Therefore the instructions just arrived are incorrect

    If you press the Xbox button, you get TURN OFF CONSUL or Turn off controller or CANCEL

    All leaderboards blank for me.

    No results counting.

    Nope, the Xbox 360 controllers won't work with the Xbox One. The Xbox 360 controllers use IR to connect to the console, whilst the Xbox One uses WiFi direct (way faster than IR).
