    XBox 360S 4GB Upgraded Storage problem


    Hi I have been trying to upgrade my 4 GB Xbox 360S with a original Xbox 360 60 GB HDD, I have swapped it in to the right case.

    My problem is when i use it as a USB with the memory transfer kit its works fine but when its inserted in to the memory expansion bay and clicks in it wont show up in the storage device menu on the Xbox.

    Storing games on DVDs

    Hello!

    I have a 4GB Version of XBOX 360S and I have no internal HDD. I've recently bought some games on XBOX Live but they are too big to fit my 4GB storage! Is there any way to write this games on DVDs and play them? Or can I use my external 500GB USB HDD?

    It's against the terms of service to use the hard drives from the fat 360s on a Slim. No one will be able to help you here.

    even tho i bought the harddrive from microsoft with the fat console and because they killed off the fat forcing everyone to buy a slim?

    yes basically only authorized hard drives to be used in the slim are the 250 the 320 and the upcoming 500 any other drive is not authorized sorry. so we will not be able to help you get that drive to work in your slim sorry.

    Does your Xbox 360 console have 4GB internal storage? You can verify by following the steps below:

    • Press the Guide button on your Xbox 360 controller and select Settings.
    • Select System.
    • Select Storage.
