xbox 360e no signal problems

My xbox 360 e is still under warranty. Periodically in the middle of playing a game or watching netflix, I get a message that the video signal has been lost. The last time it happened I unplugged the hdmi cable from the xbox and plugged it back in and
the video was immediately restored. The problem only happens sporadically but I'm concerned about it getting worse after the warranty has expired. Any suggestion on what may be causing the problem?

I tried using different HD cables on each TV and the error still occurs, I also tried different HDMI ports on the back and it still came up with no signal but what I did realise is that when the HD cable is not plugged in the screen says 'Check signal cable'
and when I plug it back in it says 'No signal' so it must be recognizing that it's getting plugged in but the screen does not show up.

I'm sorry to hear that this issue has continued to occur. Just to clarify, have you have tried different HDMI cables for each TV? Have you tried using a different HDMI port on the original TV that your console was connected to? It is possible that the issue
may be with the HDMI port on your Xbox 360 but I don't want to rule out any other variable first.

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you try a different HDMI cable? If the issue still occurs then you may need to send it it.

 

Thanks for the reply; I'll purchase another HDMI cable and give it a try. I'm concerned about sending it in for repair since the problems is so sporadic. I'm afraid a casual inspection of the unit won't detect a problem.
