Xbox 360E keeps getting disconnected from Router

I've been having this problem for the past month, and I've only had it for a short time. Sometimes I'm fine, and I can play without a problem, then I get disconnected maybe every hour, 30min, 20min, or sometimes even a minute after I get on.

I've tried changing the channel on my router, the NAT is open, but the problem is getting disconnected from the ROUTER entirely. The only way to get back on is to either restart the xbox 360 or router, or disconnect from the network and retype the password.

I've come to think that maybe my xbox 360e is just defective, and I should send it in to be checked, but I don't know.

Has anyone had this same issue or can help me out? I've reset the network, deleted the corrup files and cache. Disconnected my laptop and xbox ONE. still, I cannot find a fix.

Background Download During Standby not Working

I have a stable internet connection but my 360 keeps getting disconnected on LIVE

Tried continuous ping on PC with the same network as 360; PC never gets disconnected but the 360 does.

I recently got a new modem router in one device called the Ubee and for some reason I keep getting disconnected from xbox live for no reason, I have reset it a couple of times and it keeps happening. There's only a computer and my xbox on it.

Help please.

 

I had a similar issue when using a Netis WF2419 access point. I changed every setting I could think of and could never fix the issue. The Netis unit died shortly after and I replaced it with an Engenius ECB350. After installing the new access point, the
disconnection problem never happened again.

Not saying that your unit is dying, but you may want to try a different router or access point before sending your 360 in for repair.

 

Try hard wiring your console to the router using an ethernet cable instead of connecting via wi-fi. That should solve the problem.
