Xbox 360E keeps defaulting to WEP encription

start with a rant.

BUILD YOU HARDWARE PROPERLY, ADN CREATE SOFTWARE THATS FIT FOR BLOODY PURPOSE AND WORKS PROPERLY ALREADY JESUS BLOODY CHRIST!!!!!

Ok now thats out of my system, Why does my xbox 360 keep defaulting to WEP encryption instead of using the WPA2 encryption the routers set up to use?! Setting it up as a new network after a reset doesn't help because its at a point where it needs doing every
time the console starts up and attempts to sign in.

Router is up to date

2 error messages

Unable to connect to network - WEP on a WPA2 networks not going to work, thats obvious and the router is set up for WPA2 NOT WEP.

This is not your home network - if i force the xbox to connect using WPA2, then defaults back to WEP.

if anyone can help id appreciate it because I'm closet tossing it at a wall at the moment.

how do i stop the xbox website defaulting me to the UK?

i cant find the aussie forums via the xbox website as it keeps defaulting me to the UK - i had to bloody google to find it this time...

anyone?

help needed to change country on information

can any one tell me how to change country on billing info and profile, it keeps defaulting to usa!

Solved 4 hours talking to a rep trying to figure it out, forced the console into an unlisted network, manually input all the network info into the xbox and the router, set up a separate channel for the xbox's IP and hey presto.

Are you in Xbox Insider program for one instance?

Also, what encription level does your router use?

How about calling your ISP and asking them for the default WEP key ?

Does your router have a sticker on the bottom with the default WEP key etc on it, they do in most cases, unless you changed it from the default.
