    hi my brother has recently come in to possession of a number of Xbox 360 machines with development xna kits already attached them. Does anyone have any idea of there worth?

    If you ever heard what google console that will inculed a development kit. google console has more freedom then XNA does. And to competet with that. They have allowed abliety add achievements. And haved unlimited games on the marketplace. XNA you only can
    haved 10 games in the marketplace in a giving time.

    They have, it's called XNA Game Studio. It's a plugin Tool-kit for Visual Studio. If as tons of freedom, to develop any application which can be complied to run on any Zune, browser or Xbox device.

    XBOX 360 and XNA

    I was having account issues with my xbox 360. After I resolved these I was able to access the Xbox store and both the creators club membership
    (at $99 a year) and the xbox 360 access app are both available. So XNA is still a viable development option for 360 development given you have a version of Visual Studio (such as 2010) and the XNA Framework (available from Microsoft) installed
    on a PC.

    Are your parental controls set? XNA is unrated making it block able by moderate parental controls. Currently they are also having problems with XNA in italy so if you live there it may not be available.

    Well you would need to become a registered developer. http://www.xbox.com/developer is where you would start.

    Dev Kits are only given out to professional game developers who have a successful production history with a marketable title If you've never released a game before, have no publisher, no business model, and no practical real-world experience then you should
    really look into something like XNA and the Indie Game market.
