    Xbox 360 & Xbox One's memory sold to the consumer is a lie. But here's a method to FIX it so it isn't being falsely advertised to the consumer.

    Look if the consumer is being told that they have Access to 500GB of space than that's what should be accessible PERIOD no underhanded b.s. should be occurring and that's what's happened to pretty much anyone who's purchased an Xbox One console.

    As I mentioned I will explain How to solve this.

    I'll use my own Xbox One as an example:

    I own a 500-GB Xbox. However the player (myself in this case) only Actually has access to 364.9GB why you ask because of the system's internal functions.. PlayStation resolved this issue. How you ask? well simple! By putting Aside the allotted space BEFORE
    hand. How much space does the allotted internal functions of the Xbox require..well in the 500GB version it's 135.1 meaning if they put aside say 140-150-GB aside Plus the 500-GB that's being advertised the Xbox One should actually be about640-650-GB (give
    or take a gig) the consumer gets the 500-GB as promised and the remaining 140-150-GB NOT Mentioned is strictly for the system's internal functions. Microsoft keeps their word to the consumer thus leading to a happy purchase and more trust in their products.
    And the system requirements are still met for it to run properly with a little leeway for any necessary updates it may need.

    The allotted amount needed to be set aside from the amount advertised on the console may vary based on the console's actual Internal memory (I don't know how much more internal memory the 1T and 4T xbox one's possess but I'm assuming it's close to the 500-GB
    version in that regard)

    I would like Microsoft to personally review this issue to prevent and further issues that may occur on all current and future consoles.

    I'd like the community's opinion on this topic also.

    This isn't a Microsoft issue. I use an 8TB drive with my Xbox, which gives me 7.27TB of usable capacity. The following link provides the ratios;

    This is all before any OS that is required, which is the case for almost every system.

    I agree that hard drives not providing the usable space as advertised is mildly annoying, but that isn't something i'd put on Microsoft. That is down to the manufacturers of the drives.

    I don´t understand your Post. Microsoft never told that the Consoles has the promised Capacity for your Installation. It is to see as hole Capacity. You can put an external Drive to your Consol to max out your Drive Space.

    Big problem, 640GB hard drives don't exist. The 2'5" laptop hard drives in the Xbox One are only made in 500 to 1TB+ capacities, there are no drives in-between 500 and 1TB.

    image treatment tools, which will consume another 60GB arriving at the customer house that acquired the Pc will be free for it to use some 888GB (the HD is 1TB) but there would have to charge as being a 888GB HD? And for me to sell how 1TB would have to put
    a second unit to occupy the installed systems and tools for that free 1TB chege? I don't think that makes any sense.

    This is what I think (of course if MS could put an extra memory like a "Memory SSD Card with 256GB to be used by the system causing the HD space to stay only for installation of games this would be much better, but would make
    the equipment more expensive)
