Hello , Can Someone Help Me Out As I Do Not Understand The Backward Compatilbility . Im Getting Xbox One At Christmas And For Xbox 360 I Have About 170 Games By Any Chance Can This Be That i can play all of them on Xbox One If So How Because Surely the Disc
Would Not work

What is the point in the voting if the choice to allow the backward compatibility is down to the publisher?

We could get 70 million votes to make Sleeping Dogs backward compatible for example but all that would do is show Square Enix is that there is a big market for the 'Definitive Edition' of the game.

Surely that is what the voting is doing. Showing publishers which game would sell as a remaster.

I'm in a negative mood today.

So that Microsoft gets an idea on what it's player base wants and to set priorities accordingly. As to how the publisher interprets the information, that's up to them. And the customer base will react according to their response.

If you are trying to play the game on a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One, sorry to say but the game is not backward compatible for either console. You can check the full list of games that are here.

If it's backwards compatible it would only be available on the Xbox One as a backwards compatible game. Not on the 360

There are backwards compatible games available for the 360. Black is one of them.

I understand that the OG xbox versions are backwards compatible on xbox 360 but this is primarily having the 360 versions be backwards compatible on xbox one
