xbox 360 wont turn on

Discus and support xbox 360 wont turn on in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; it plays the sounds like it turns on but it doesnt and before i fixed it another time and i plugged in another xbox to the outlet then plugged mine...     it plays the sounds like it turns on but it doesnt and before i fixed it another time and i plugged in another xbox to the outlet then plugged mine back in and mine worked but when i try a different power cord with my xbox it still wont turn on

    Try cleaning your power supply socket. If they doesn't work your power supply is most likely damaged and need replaced.

    Hey there, so when you say you tried a different power cord, was that with the power source as well (the little box with a light on it).

    If you see a flashing orange, solid red, or no light: Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:

    1.Try plugging your console’s power supply into a different power point. Do not use a surge protector.

    2.If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then plug the power supply back into the power point.

    i pugged the power source into a wall outlet and it didnt work the only time i got my xbox to work is plugging in a different xbox and then plugging mine back in

    I am also experiencing that but on an Xbox 360 but it wont turn back on. It's not the red ring of death because there was none and because it's a 360 slim, it's plugged in and it's not hot at all!
