XBOX 360 wont read a single disc

Your DVD drive has failed and in need of repair. You will need to set up a repair for it through Microsoft, either by phone or online. If it is still in warranty, there will be no charge. If it is out of warranty, then repair would cost between $80 and $120

Nope, nothing. It just sits there and does absolutely nothing at all. Every xbox one disc reads absolutely fine, but every single 360 disc will not read, or even attempt to read.........

I believe what is happening is that they do spin, just at a lower speed due to the way the data was put on the discs. Xbox 360 discs use a dual-layer format, which reuires the read head moving to dfferent spots on the disc and reading ata different depths.
Xbox discs are single layer, so they need only to read the visible layer on top.

my xbox 360 is the old white with silver disc tray and it wont read read my black ops 2 and the disc is super clean and my warrenty is voided since my dad took my xbox apart to clean it and now it wont read any discs and it was fine yesterday since it read
my black ops 2 disc in 1 go and the rest of my games in 1 go and i am just really confused why my xbox wont read any discs anymore and it read newer games perfectly also does the 3 ring of death effect the disc reading since i have had my xbox have the 3 ring
of death 6 times and was fine until today so if anyone has any idea's to help me please message me and sorry for my lack of punctuation since i dont use grammar on the internet
