Xbox 360 Won't let me play digitally purchased content

Hi,

I purchased the Fable Trilogy through the console store, received a receipt, and show the game in my purchase history online. However, when i go to "My Games" and select play, then select to download content - I receive a message saying that "The active
user has not purchased this content". I am signed in under the same account that purchased the game. I've attempted signing out and signing back in, as well as restarting my console. I've also verified that I am still connected to the internet.

I'm given the option to purchase this content again when the error pops up, but even if i click on that, it then says there is not content available for purchase. Please assist.

install the content due to the system not detecting your licenses. If you are signed in to the correct account after confirming the purchase, we recommend reaching out to the
Xbox Support Team. They will investigate the licenses of your account to make sure they were applied properly. If they cannot locate them; they will take the appropriate action
to help you download the game. Be sure to let us know the results!

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I clicked on the link you posted and selected contact us. I selected my issue and was notified that no chat or phone support was available for this issue and was told to go to the community or use a help article to resolve (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/troubleshooting/game-freeze-solution is
the link it provided). Is there a number i can call? I apologize if its posted somewhere obvious but i am having trouble finding it. I attempted to use the virtual assistant option as well but was directed to the same place.

Are you using a disc copy or a digitally downloaded copy? If it's digital, let's have you try this guide for some help with that specific error.

You won't be able to transfer much to the new console. The Xbox One won't be backwards compatible with the Xbox 360 so you won't be able to play your purchased arcade games or other game content on it. The only purchased content that will work on the Xbox
One will be video and music. As for Avatars, I have no idea.

You will be able to have your Gamertag on both the Xbox One and the 360 at the same time. You won't need to keep recovering it.

I'm sorry that you had a poor customer service experience. Unfortunately, the agent you spoke with is generally correct, even if their manner left a lot to be desired.

Xbox gift cards redeem for currency that is added to your Microsoft account. That currency can be used to purchase digital content for use on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. However, if the content is for Xbox 360, the purchase must be made on an actual Xbox 360
console. If you're purchasing it for use on Xbox One (for example, a back-compatible game) and have no access to an Xbox 360 console, I'm afraid that you won't be able to use gift cards/account funds for the purchase of that particular content.
