Xbox 360 won't display video

Discus and support Xbox 360 won't display video in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my Xbox 360 WILL turn on and connect to a controller but the picture won't show up on my tv.     Xbox 360 won't display video


    my Xbox 360 WILL turn on and connect to a controller but the picture won't show up on my tv. The av cord is connected and my tv is on the right input. A couple days ago the picture on the tv from the Xbox had a green tint to it and now there's no picture
    or sound.

    the reset display should revert the display back to default settings.

    Using monitor for the xbox

    Make sure you set the display to 1080p in the xbox 360 video settings.

    Hi ReliantBear,

    From the information you gave us, it sounds like there may have been some warning signs that something was going on here. However, may I suggest that you check out the steps listed in "Xbox
    360 images on your TV are unclear    ". Also, when you say "av cord is connected" do you mean analog video dongle? The reason I ask is because it might be worth disconnecting and moving the AV cable and reconnecting the Xbox to the TV via an HDMI cable. The
    audio and video are together on the HDMI connection and this all digital path maybe able to get you up and running again if the other steps do not fix the problem.

    Looking at the cable box it looks like those are video/audio OUTs not INs. Plugging your 360 in there won't give you any option to display the 360. As Toad mentioned, it looks like this is going to be your only option.

    Are the display options you've been trying on the display itself, or your Xbox 360? Be sure to try resetting video settings and then changing them in the System Settings. You can see how to reset video here.
