    Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

    When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

    Sorry to hear it. Are you getting an 8 digit error code when the connection fails from the dashboard?

    How is the console connected? If wireless, have you tried an ethernet cable?

    Which type of console do you have? FAT or Slim?

    Have you tried power cycling the modem/router by unplugging for 5 seconds?

    Thank you for the reply

    -No 8 digit error code

    -Wireless connection. I have tried an ethernet cable. Still unable to connect to xbox live. My Xbox One is able to connect though.

    -I have the black FAT console

    -I've cycled the modem/router

    Thanks. The issue may very well be due to the internet card in the console if neither wireless or ethernet work. Unfortunately the older FAT consoles are no longer eligible for repair

    Just an afterthought. Are you able to take it to a friends house and see if it will connect there?

    Well, that sucks. Unfortunately I am not able to bring it to a friends house.

    I was able to connect to Xbox Live until recently

    The network adapter in your console seems to be in order, since your traceroute tells us that you at least have basic IP connectivity and that it can communicate from the IP layer (layer 3) and down to the physical cabling (layer 1). So please keep in mind
    that almost every NIC's operates in both layer 1 and layer 2, but not in the remaining layers.

    Can you please tell us what you have tried troubleshooting up to this point, so we don't post up solutions that may only echo back.

    Sometimes the emulator won't connect, so bring up the 360 guide & you should see a option "connect to xbox live".

    I'm having similar connection issues with Xbox live on my One. I can log into my account just fine but it's not connecting to xbox live. I was able to sign into live on my 360, but for some reason my One just won't let me connect.
