    Xbox 360 won't connect to Xbox live but is connected to Wifi


    I bought a new in the box Xbox 360 (not the original) and I had the original but it broke. I had a live account on that Xbox and wanted it on the new one. The new will connect to the wifi but when the test gets to xbox live connections it fails. I can't
    plug my old one in and it still connects. Why does the new one not connect to live but is on wifi?

    My Xbox 360 Slim wont connect to wifi

    My Xbox 370 Slim wont connect to wifi. It has connected to other wifi connentions before but It won't connect to mine.

    Can't connect to Xbox Live

    I got a Xbox 360 Slim with Built-In Wifi, I can't connect to Xbox Live for some reason. When I enter the WPA2 code, there appears a red cross between the Xbox 360 and the router. I tried the xbox.com/networkhelp but it doesn't work for me. When I insert
    an ethernet cable, I can get connected. But when I try wireless, it won't work. Is my Xbox 360 wifi broken, or something else maybe?

    Please help Xbox 360 won't connect to Xbox live but is connected to Wifi ;)

    lost connection today its not the router i tried connect on several wifi devices all devices connect but won't connect to xbox live i can't connect with my achievements because of this and this is only 360 only other xbox devices connect

    Hi,

    Your last comment states you have no WIFI at your house. Are you connected to Xbox Live?

    If you are not connected to Live it won't be possible for you to play BC Xbox 360 games as they must be downloaded, regardless whether you have the disc.

    You should be able to use an Ethernet-connected WiFi adapter with your Xbox 360, but it needs to connect to a WiFi network established by a WiFi router connected to your DSL "modem". (And you might have to configure the adapter on a computer, since
    the 360 won't have any way to configure it.)

    You should take your issue to the "Connecting to Xbox Live" forum, and include the details of the adapters you're using. If the adapter you're attaching to your
    DSL modem is the same as the one on the console, that's probably another "client" adapter (bridge) and not a WiFi router.
