    Hello,

    first sorry for my English Xbox 360 wireless receiver :)

    Ok let's go: I have Xbox 360 wireless controller for windows for two years+/-. I bought yesterday notebook and i my receiver doesn't work. I have drivers... everything what i need to use it... What can I do? Port USB work - checked. I try to use again on
    old computer and... doesn't work :O LED is not lit.

    Hi,

    The Wireless Optical receiver doesn't work with the Xbox 360 controller. The 360 uses it's own type of wireless protocol. To connect the controller you'll need a Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver.

    Hi,

    The Xbox 360 wireless protocol is not Bluetooth. This is why your 360 controller won't sync to your wireless receiver. PlayStation Dual Shock uses BT, the 360 does not. Only the Xbox One X controller can be connected via Bluetooth.

    If you want to use a wireless 360 controller you will need to buy the Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver. Don't buy the Xbox One receiver as it does not support 360 controllers either.

    Thanks for your post! To use an Xbox 360 controller on a Windows PC, you must use the

    Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver    . Since the Xbox 360 controller and Xbox One controller use different wireless technologies, the new receiver is not compatible with 360 controllers.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. The wireless adapter is for Xbox one controllers. There is an

    Xbox wireless receiver     for Xbox 360 controllers. They also sell Xbox 360 controllers with Bluetooth capability for windows. The receiver you will have to search around for as they are hard to find.
