Xbox 360 wireless receiver wont work

Hello!

i'm experiencing problems with my Xbox 360 wireless receiver it stops working after a windows update normally i go to device manager and update it but now it dosent want to show up!

I have contacted Microsoft support,troubleshooted,looked at other forums but nothing works for me

Can someone help me?

The receiver isn't working now for about 2-3 days and i have been checking for windows updates but all is up to date!!

i hope i'l find a fix for this thing

xbox 360 controller always blinking

i was recently bought a Xbox 360 wireless controller but it wont connect to my pc receiver works perfect and i was checked on device manager (
xbox 360 wireless receiver ) drivers are installed but no ( HID-compliant game controller and USB input device
) drivers are not installed when i connected to another pc it works fine. how to fix....?

i was tried on so many methods but it wont work

trying to re install the drivers ,re connecting it ,changed batteries but it wont work , i searched on google but i didn't find the solution that why i am contacting you. help me to fix

When you plug in the receiver do you receive any notification that it's been connected or is it not connecting at all? Be sure to try other USB ports to see if there's any change and if you have another PC, give that a test as well.

 

i have tried switching ports and i just tried plugging it in my laptop it didnt show up aswell!

i dont get a notification of any sort it dosent show up in the device manager on the laptop i dont know what to do :/

 

looks like we arent fixing it and the reciever was a waste of money :/

It sounds like the issue is with the receiver unfortunately. If you're having issues on multiple PCs your best bet is to test another receiver if a friend has one, or purchase/replace a new receiver at the retailer you purchased from.

I definitely understand the frustrations with this. Please keep us looped in with what you decide to do.

 

So Mister Maka the reciever isnt dead i remembered about the reciever today and i plugger it in and i lifted the part where it comes out of the usn port and it gave me the noise that something is connected i looked at device manager and i saw the reciever
popping up so my conclusion is that there is a bad connection in the part where it comes out of the usb port so i need to somehow bend it so it stays and its working!
