Xbox 360 wireless not working on Windows 10

After I upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 my xbox wireless controller can't maintain a connection with my adapter. I plug my adapter, it works fine. I turn on the controller it connects with the adapter, I can even play for like 20 seconds. But the
controller keeps trying to do something by making the lights spin and after some seconds it will just disconnects and turn off.

I tried on different computer both using windows 10 and I have the same issue. I tried updating the drivers but nothing works....

I don't know if this will work or not or even if it applies to windows 10, but in windows 8.1 there is a device service called "Device Association Service" and mine was not running on start up. It was set to manually run. I don't know the full purpose
of the service, but the description says "Enables pairing between the system and wired or wireless devices". Again, mine was not running, so I changed the start up type to Automatic and started the service. It should now run whenever the computer is started.
If you have this service and it is turned off, you could start the service and see if the controller connects longer than half a minute.

 

That I didn't try, but sadly it didn't work either. It was already running and I restarted it and made no difference

Whenever I play a game in full-screen mode, I can navigate the menus with the controller but when gameplay starts, it disconnects. I reconnect and when I take it off pause, the controller disconnects again. It works perfectly in windowed mode. Does anyone
have a solution? Is there a good driver to manually install on Windows 10?
