    Xbox 360 wireless mic problem.


    Hi my xbox360 wireless Mic wont let me hear other players, when i turn it on they can hear me and when i turn it off i can hear them. help? It has worked fine for 6 moonths prior. I have tried changing settings to blended, speaker only and headset only.

    Wireless mic making me disconnect from Xbox live

    Every time i turn ln my wireless mic in an online game the mic disconnects me from xbox live. When i try to reconnect to xbox live it says that i need to have a wireless reciver but im using a 360 slim it's built in. I have to turn my xbox off and back
    on so i can reconnect. I noticed it started happening after the last xbox update and that all my friends with a wireless mic have the same problem. Is their a fix for this problem.

    Is the tritton warhead compatible

    The "mic" you're referring to is the boom mic that plugs into the headset.



    The mic I'm referring to is the chat system that allows one to talk to other players. Normally, that's supported by a wired mic cable that goes from the 360 controller to other headsets. On all other 360 headsets, a cable is required from the base of the
    360 controller to the headset for chat. Even the wireless Astro A50 has a mic cable port to go to the 360 controller.



    On the Tritton Warhead, that's all done wirelessly, same as the Microsoft Wireless Mic for 360 works. Tritton integrated the wireless mic into the headset base unit so that the headset can be completely wireless - no wired mic cable going to the controller.



    It's the wired mic cable that the Tritton Warhead lacks that is the problem. There will be no way for the Warhead's base unit to sync its wireless mic with the Xbox One.



    If all you want to do is use the Warhead as a wireless headset without a mic, it will be fine. If you want mic support, it won't.

    Wireless Headset boots me off LIVE.

    So has anyone figured out why these mics are doing this? My Ps3's wireless mic has no problems what so ever not like the problem this 360 mic gives me.

    Connecting a headset directly to the console

    There is only one completely wireless headset for the 360, the
    Tritton Warhead    . The Warhead includes wireless sync ability with a 360 console (same as a 360 wireless mic), allowing it to be completely wireless. All other headsets use a cable from the controller to the headset to provide mic support.

    The Warhead base unit syncs wirelessly with the 360 console for its mic. It is the only third party headset solution that does. The cabled inputs are only for audio output from the 360 itself.

    Absolutely no other third party headset made today for the 360 has a wireless mic. All other solutions have to plug into the 360 controller.

    The Xbox One does not support the wireless protocol used between the Warhead base unit and the 360 console. The Warhead has no cable port to connect to a 360 controller. The Warhead's mic will do nothing when the headset is used with the Xbox One.

    Randomly Getting Disconnected from Xbox Live

    Nope, this is the E4200v2. Version right before being able to use the connect cloud. Also I have found out the cause of my problem... It is the wireless mic... Any time I use my wireless mic and pair it the xbox freezes for a second then disconnects from
    live. I have tested it on 3 different xboxs and 3 different wireless mics...
