xbox 360 wireless connector driver did not install

Discus and support xbox 360 wireless connector driver did not install in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I brought a xbox 360 wireless adapter for my windows 10 computer, yet the driver did not automaticaly install when I pluged it in.     xbox 360 wireless connector driver did not install


    I brought a xbox 360 wireless adapter for my windows 10 computer, yet the driver did not automaticaly install when I pluged it in. What do I do now?

    What does this mean???

    the wireless connector gets loose sometimes. try logging in without hard drive

    Xbox one wireless controller xinput driver

    The left joystick on my xbox one wireless controller was causing my player to look up while moving forward. I uninstalled the xinput driver, and the driver did not re install once I plugged the controller back in. Now my controller doesn't work at all on
    my PC. How can I re install the xinput driver onto my controller?

    It's very tough thing to troubleshoot, as it might be the OS and drivers, or the controller. I'd say check the USB port you're using on the PC, try a different one. Is this a wired controller, or are you using the Xbox 360 wireless connector?

    Is your Controller. wired or wireless? If you've plugged your wireless Controller in using a play and charge, im affraid you're out of luck. The 360 wireless Controller remains wireless It can't be made Into a wired controller.

    All windows versions after Windows XP have the Xbox 360 controller drivers pre-installed, there is no driver to install.

    Depending on your OS, you should be able to install it through the included drivers. Please take a look at the

    Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Troubleshooter     and let us know if that helps you correct your driver issue.

    Okay, here's a really stupid solution that worked for me, hopefully will work for you.

    I know it *says* 360 controller drivers for windows *7*, but I just installed them and they made my non-functioning Xbone controller work on my Windows 10 installation. You might have to do some driver finagling (go to manage devices, get the unknown controller,
    point it to the driver installation path directly), but hopefully it will work for your issue!

    Are you trying to find the drivers for the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver? If so, then the drivers are built in to Windows 10, and should install automatically when you plug the adapter into a USB port. If you are using an earlier version of windows, then
    the add new hardware wizard should start, and find the drivers.

    PCs require the adapter in order to use a 360 controller, as the controller uses a custom wireless format.
