    Purchased a chat pad for my PC xbox 360 controller. it connects to my controller and Windows 10 reacts to new hardware, but cannot identify it. Cannot find any drivers for chatpad to work with Windows 10. Any help?

    Windows 10 : XBOne Bluetooth Controller w/ Chatpad not working.

    Just bought the new white Bluetooth controller and chatpad to play No Man's Sky on Windows 10/Alienware Alpha PC using a Bluetooth connection; however, so far I can only get the chatpad to work when hardwired to the PC with the included cable, but once I
    unplug and try to use it via Bluetooth the chatpad stops working (the controller still works, just not the chatpad). Is Bluetooth not supported bythe chatpad? Will it ever be? Am I doing something wrong?

    FYI, I already downloaded the Xbox Accessories app and updated the controller (with chatpad connected) via my PC after unboxing it so it should be up to date. Any help would be appreciated...

    Xbox One Chatpad Does Not Work on Windows 10

    Xbox One Chatpad does not work when connected to bluetooth in windows 10, even if the Xbox One controller works with bluetooth. But when I connect the controller with a USB cable, the chatpad is running.
    I downloaded Xbox Accessories. The update was installed on the controller and chatpad. Still, there's nothing changing. Will I be able to wirelessly run the chatpad on Windows 10 without receiving the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

    Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
    wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.

    Both wired and wireless Xbox 360 controllers work on Windows 10. Wired is just plug and play while wireless controllers need a receiver. I know 360 controllers work as I've used them on my own gaming PC running the latest version of Win 10.

    Are you trying to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your Windows 10 PC or is it a wired controller? If it's a wired one, here are the steps to

    calibrate your controller with your Windows PC.     You'll want to follow those steps and be sure that everything is set up correctly and try again.
